Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Cloud and Edge Computing will form the basis of Computing & Informatics in future.

Edge computing is not a technology looking for a market, but a topology and design being fulfilled with technologies such as IoT and the cloud to enable new solutions. Edge will complete the current cloud computing stack and together these will be the platform for future computing.

Blockchain is a distributed ledger system for maintaining a permanent and tamper-proof record of transactional data as a decentralized database that is managed by computers belonging to a peer-to-peer (P2P) network. Middleware based on blockchain will be designed to bring together various interrelated instances and elements of blockchain data. It will combine different blockchain implementations within a unified interface for ease of use.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a combination of advanced technologies in varying degrees of maturity. Some have been around for decades, while others are relatively new. Many are rapidly evolving, in part due to recent hardware and software breakthroughs. In current popular cases, AI refers to systems that change behaviors without being explicitly programmed based on data collected, usage analysis and other observations.
